Work to upgrade and renew the ambulance area will begin soon.

Beginning in October 2026, work will begin to expand the main dance floor and improve accessibility throughout the area. The project will include:

› A wheelchair-accessible pathway.
› More space between the memorial signs, making it easier for visitors to move through the area.
› Permanent iron posts, secured in concrete, replacing the existing temporary posts.

The project is funded by KKL-JNF and led by Amir Chodorov and Jojo Rabia.

In September 2026, memorial candle holders were installed throughout the main dance floor. Each person commemorated there now has a dedicated candle holder, giving families and visitors a place to light a candle in their memory.

The memorial work in the grove and at the memorial displays is progressing with sensitivity and thoroughness. These days, we continue to work closely with the bereaved families in selecting photographs and writing the words that will tell the stories of their loved ones. The new memorial signs are being installed throughout the site gradually, until the entire memorialization project is complete.
