KKL-JNF
The Keren Kayemeth LeIsrael-Jewish National Fund (KKL-JNF) has been a central partner in the establishment, development and management of the memorial site at the Re’im parking lot, and has been accompanying it since its inception and through the current time. It has participated through the development of the infrastructure, the commemoration activities on the dance floor and in the grove of memorial plantation, and in the ongoing maintenance and the daily presence of a professional team at the site. This activity takes place in close cooperation with the artist Amir Chodorov and the bereaved families, and reflects sensitivity, responsibility and a deep commitment to preserving the memory and the stories of those who were murdered.
All along the way, there have been men and women of the KKL-JNF who participated in the establishment and development of the site, and who worked with great dedication, sensitivity and commitment to the site and to the bereaved families. They include:
Ifat Ovadia-Luski – Chairman of the KKL-JNF during the establishment of the site
Eyal Ostrinsky – Chairman of the KKL-JNF
Yaron Ohayon – Director of the Land Development Administration
Yaniv Maimon – Director of the Southern Region
Itzhak Lugasi – Site Manager in the field
Others who have worked with them are the members of the management, planning and execution teams of the KKL-JNF Southern Region, who accompany the development of the site and its ongoing activities. The daily activities in the field are led by Itzhak Lugasi, together with a permanent and dedicated team of employees.
